PERSONAL INFORMATION

HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

  • you accept an invitation to join, and create an account on, Lotmix;
  • you communicate with us through correspondence, chats, email;
  • you share information with us from other social media applications, services or websites;
  • you interact with our websites, services, content and, advertising;
  • you contribute to our website; or
  • you subscribe to our newsletter or email or SMS alerts.

We also collect your personal information from builders, developers, sales consultants or real estate agents (“Salesperson”) you engage with who sends you an automated email invitation to create an account on Lotmix using name and contact information that you gave to the Salesperson.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following types of personal information:

  • Name;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address;
  • Work or residential address;
  • Credit card information;
  • Your device ID, device type, geo-location information, computer and connection information, statistics on page views, statistics on product views and products shortlisted; traffic to and from the sites, ad data, IP address, and standard web log information;
  • details of the products and services we have provided to you or that you have enquired about, including any additional information necessary to deliver those products and services and respond to your enquiries;
  • any additional information relating to you that you provide to us directly through Lotmix and other related websites we operate (landconnect.com.au and landspot.com.au );
  • information you provide to us through customer surveys; or
  • any other personal information that may be required to facilitate your dealings with us.

Where you engage with a Salesperson directly on Lotmix and the Salesperson sends you products and floorplan documentation, we also collect information on how you engage with the products and floorplan documentation you received from the Salesperson.

If all or part of this information is not provided, we may not be able to provide our services to you.

We take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify all personal information where it is no longer necessary to retain the information for the purposes for which it was requested or as required by law.

WHY WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

We collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information for the following purposes:

  • to enable Salespersons to share their content or products with you;
  • to ensure you adhere to our Website’s terms of use;
  • to operate, protect, improve and optimise our services, business and our users’ experience;
  • to verify your identity or log-in to Lotmix and remind you of your password and username;
  • to contact you to conduct surveys, research and feedback about our products, services or Lotmix;
  • to perform analytics and provide statistics, insights or business data to our business or our business partners;
  • to send you service, support and administrative messages, reminders, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and information requested by you;
  • to send you marketing communications as described in clause 3 of this Privacy Policy;

  • Salespersons you have engaged with on Lotmix in connection with your engagement with products and floorplan documentation the Salesperson sent to you;
  • third party suppliers and service providers (including providers for the operation of our websites and/or our business or in connection with providing our products and services to you);

  • payment systems operators (e.g. merchants receiving card payments);
  • our existing or potential agents, business partners or partners;
  • anyone to whom our assets or businesses (or any part of them) are transferred;
  • specific third parties authorised by you to receive information held by us; and/or
  • other persons, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement agencies, if required by law.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA

Personal information may be stored in databases hosted on servers and data centres located in Australia or Europe. We may also disclose personal information outside of Australia to third party suppliers, contractors, and cloud providers, that are located in the United States and Europe (France, Poland, Ukraine and Romania).
